Uniform is compulsory for all dance classes and only Devonport School of Dance uniform is permitted to be worn in classes.

Uniform may be purchased from our uniform shop during the specified opening hours or ordered online.

Once paid, online uniform will be ready for collection from the front desk at the studio. Items may be exchanged for different sizes as long as tags are still attached and items are in original condition. Hosiery items can not be exchanged.

Regular class uniform is also worn for exams. There is also the option of purchasing Devonport School of Dance merchandise- jackets, crop tops, shorts, singlets, leggings, thermals, crew jumpers and t-shirts which can be worn as an alternate option in some classes.

  • Uniform is compulsory for all classes (except Mini & Me Ballet, Adult classes and Competition classes), and must be worn by the third class of the term.

  • The correct uniform must be worn for each genre, along with hair styled neatly off the face and in a bun for ballet classes.

  • If a student continues to attend class without the required uniform, they will be given 2 warnings with parents contacted before they are denied entry to the class.

  • We ask that you are respectful of our uniform policy as it is in place so students can get the most out of their dance lessons.
