Santa Parade 2025

Join us for the Devonport Christmas Parade! We would love to have as many DSOD students as possible join us for our parade float. We need dancers on the float, in front of, behind and dancers handing out treats. Please RSVP by 1st December.

About the event
Arrive at 10:15am to the Devonport School of Dance studios - 15 Wynyard Street. Be sure to wear your DSOD T-shirt and some sneakers to walk/dance down the street in! Our theme this year is UNDER THE SEA so we will have some costumes from our show for some students to wear.
We will have a run through of the parade dance (the finale dance from our show), place students in lines and allocate students to hold our banners, help hand out treats/promo cards. Some students will be selected to wear costumes as well.
Preschoolers are also welcome to join in but we do ask that their parent/caregiver walks with them. Parents can also walk with younger students.
RSVP by Monday 1st December if you'd like to take part so we can plan for costumes.
